I am a 2016 graduate from the Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutriton and Health program from the University of British Columbia. In terms of my background, I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, and for this reason, have developed a strong foundation in the English Language. Not only did I live in an English speaking environment, I also attended schools where English is taught as a first language from the age of four. My communication between my friends and classmates has always been in English. My decision to teach English as well as other subjects such as Math and Food/Nutrition class was impelled through my enjoyment of teaching students. I have been tutoring and teaching English as well as Foods/Nutrition class since the age of 15 years old. For English, I have specifically taught students phonics, grammar, writing as well as oral. I am glad to have found a job where I can take on a role of authority, responsibility as well as pass on my knowledge.
