I am a 2016 graduate from the Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health program from the University of British Columbia. In terms of my background, I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, and for this reason, have developed a strong foundation in the English Language. Not only did I live in an English speaking environment, I also attended schools where English is taught as a first language from the age of four. My communication between my friends and classmates has always been in English. My decision to teach English as well as other subjects such as Math and Food/Nutrition class was impelled through my enjoyment of teaching students. I have been tutoring and teaching English as well as Foods/Nutrition class since the age of 15 years old. I am glad to have found a job where I can take on a role of authority, responsibility as well as pass on my knowledge. These experiences have built my discipline in planning and increased my coordinating skills and work ethics. Happy to clarify on any questions you have.

I have studied abroad in English speaking environments for 5 years and scored 3As in GCG A Level (Bio, Chem and Math). I have also achieved overall 7.5 in IELTS with 8.5 in listening, 8.0 in oral, 7.5 in reading and 6.5 in writing. I am currently a medical student at a British medical school.

本人曾於文憑試DSE中獲得中文科口試5*的佳績，具優秀的中文說話技巧，有信心能勝任中文說話訓練導師一職。
本人具豐富的教學經驗。本人在大學期間及畢業後曾先後替學生私人補習及於教育中心從事中丶小學英文專科班導師及小學功課輔導老師工作，清楚了解最新中丶小學教學內容及情況，亦明白與小孩相處之道。

Hi, I’m Fiona
I graduated from University of Toronto and studied in Toronto, Canada since high school.
I am a part time private English tutor who provide in-home class and prepare teaching materials for my students according to their levels. Besides my teaching materials, I also help them to edit their homework/essays and to improve their speaking level by giving them extra curriculums such as presentation and speeches which can also improve their critical thinking.
