Matthew holds three degrees from the University of Cambridge – a Master of Engineering (MEng), a Maters of Arts (MA), a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. He also holds a Chartered Accountant status. In addition, he is a qualified teacher having completed the Teaching Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (DipABRSM).

本人為香港理工大學畢業生，高考總成績為2B2C，且具備多年教授經驗，掌握與學生有效溝通與教授方法，提供有效的全科補習教育。在以往的教學經驗中，我觀察到很多學生在學術上亦擁有很大的潛力，但由於欠缺適切指導，令他們的能力難以發揮。本人將有技巧地針對個別學生的弱點提供培訓，除了日常課業指導，更會自製筆記助學生掌握要點，事半工倍。 而本人在高考中通識科奪B，其中中國研究卷別更奪得A級; 且於高考中中國語文及文化科奪B，其中寫作、文化及口語說話卷別均奪得A級成績，因此對教授通識科及中文科十分有信心。
只要相信沒有不可能，加上勤加練習，考獲理想成績，無難度。
