   (1) Graduated from Big Ten University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2) Have been tutoring for two years, one year part while in Uni and one year in HK (3) tutor primarily English (4) had one semester TA experience in college (5) have experience tutoring GCE syllabus (6) have experience tutoring young students (7) will incorporate Story-telling or mini-games while teaching (8) material will be provided if needed

   Hi, my name is Verena. I’m currently a student in an international school, and my first language is English. I can teach phonics and teach primary students grammar, writing, vocabulary and reading. Not only I can teach English, I’m good at Maths too.

   As a native English speaker, I take pride in teaching English. Achieving a good grade at the HKDSE level allowed me to establish myself as a teacher which gives confidence to parents and students as they can rely on me which enables me to teach using my own unique style!
   Maths is an universal language which is widely understood due to its transparency with details! My maths teacher always stress to understand the numbers given and then to judge if the numbers make sense to the question! Hence,
